Well I decided not to come on my due date, mommy and daddy decided to schedule an induction for October 20. Poor mommy, although she had a good laboring experience, when it got down to the last hour and a half she started feeling contractions despite the epidural. The docs redosed her twice prior to pushing but unfortunately 30 minutes into pushing she began feeling everything again. I didn't mean to cause her so much pain. She gave up right at the end as I was coming out and the staff had to push down on her belly to help me come out. The cord was wrapped around my neck twice. When Dr.Lapeyre clamped the cord i decided I didn't want her to cut my only connection to my mommy so I grabbed the clamp....Dr. Lapeyre said she'd never seen that in all her years of delivering babies. I told them I was gifted. Anywayz.....as Daddy was falling in love with me by the warmer....poor mommy was still in excrusiating pain while they delivered her placenta and sewed her tear up.
But now I'm here and mommy and daddy are so great. I'm breastfeeding like a champ! And....I love my new home. It's not quite as cozy as the womb but it'll do!
